Mini interview : Madis

Aujourd'hui, nouvel artiste étranger, cette fois-ci on pars en Pologne à la rencontre de Madis ! :) Interview en anglais

- How long do you compose ?

I’m composing and producing music since I’ve got my own computer but always it was a hobby and I was never focused on releasing tracks in labes. I was doing it for fun :)

- How are you going to want to compose ? Studying music ? Hight school of music ?…

My mom is a huge fan of Jean-Michel Jarre and classical music so music is in my life for my birth :) In school I was learning to play piano and later I went to a musical school.

- Who inspired you, wich are your influences ?

Of course it’s my master Jean-Michel Jarre. His music is in my life almost 31 years :) and I’m never get bored when I’m listening to him.

- What are your instruments in your set ? Wich is your favorite instruments and why ?

I don’t have much instruments in my studio but I very like Roland Aira System-1 . It’s very useful and versalite synthesizer. I love the sound of my Roland D-50. JMJ used D-50 to produce few tracks. My favourite gear in my studio is Microkorg. I love it because of cheap price, millions of presets and lovely, retro sounds. Now I’m looking for used Roland JP-8000, it’s a very powerfull and great sounding synthesizer.

- How do you compose ? Inspiration ?

I’m mostly producing remixes but  sometimes I’m broswing synthesizers presets and when I will find perfect sound, then I’m start jamming and few hours later I have a sketch of my new track :) Most of them are unfinished but somemtimes I’m going back to old projects - it’s also inspiration. I think my biggest inspirations are hidden in movies and TV Shows. I’m watching a lot of Netflix :D There are many TV Shows with great music, that inspires the most.

- How many album did you released ?

I’ve released only oe EP in Electronic Gate Records in 2013 - it’s called „Ocean Rain”. Few days ago I’ve released my new single „Nightwalk”. It’s avaiable on Spotify and Youtube. Rest of my music is on my youtube channel :)

- Next album ?

I dont’t planning an album now. I’m focused on producing few electronic composition and also I’m preparing to record live videos.

- What is your dream for your musics ?

I’m reading every comment on my FB fanpage and Youtube channel :) I think the music is more than weave of sounds, it’s a way to show our emotions, our feelings. So when I’m reading comments like „This helps me when I’m depressed” or „It touched my heart” or „This song is a journey to another world” then I’m sure that my biggest dream is to have more wonderful listeners like those who understands my music as I do. This is the most important thing :)
